In celebration of America Recycles Day on November 16, the Community Closet and Repair Cafe will open their doors to the public as part of Candra and Chad Livsey’s capstone project for the Atlanta Sustainability Ambassador Program.
Visitors can explore the Community Closet, where gently used clothing and accessories are available through a sustainable, affordable “fill-a-bag” model, and the Repair Cafe, offering free mending to extend the life of clothing.
Proceeds and donations from this event will go directly to The Chad Livsey Project, supporting their new internship and workforce development program, and promoting sustainable practices in the heart of the community.
